Where Can I Get Free Ringtones?
This is a question that plaques the minds of all those who buy a new phone or simply put have an older. I have been looking for good quality ringtones for a while. There have been sites that have previously worked perfectly fine. I mean I was able to upload my mp3 to the site and then convert it into a ringtone; the site would then send it over to my phone through an mms. That was all great until suddenly now I can’t get those tones on my phone.
Yes I do realize that getting the tones directly on my phone is basically not free. It does cost in the sense that one is charged for the data usage (i.e. cell phone company charges you for downloading anything on the phone directly).
So really where can I get free ringtones?
Well the answer is not that difficult. If you want you can easily create these ringtones on your computer. Regardless of Mac or PC. Both Mac and PC have their own respective software that can help you slice an mp3 into a 30 second segments. Almost all the new phones are able to play mp3 songs as ringtones, but if you want for further ease and compatibility you could convert it the 30 second mp3 song segments into your mobile phone’s specif ringtone format.
Almost all the cell phone companies make mobile phone manager software. These software are a combination of tools that allow you to manage the data on your phones by letting to sync the phones with your PCs. You can transfer back and forth any data you like. In the event that you cell phone manufacturer does not provide you with this software you could also use the aftermarket sharewares as iSync or Bitpim. Using these software you could easily transfer the mp3 songs or slices or the converted ringtones on to you phones. Thus truly getting 100% Free Ringtones.
